Beloved, if God, so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man has seen God at any time.  If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us.
1 John 4:10-12

God is love and He loves us all. His love is not bound by language, doctrines, or traditions. At our very worst He loves us; at our best His love is there, when we reject Him, His love remains constant.  Unconditional love.  What He desires from us is that we love Him in return with all that we are and then proceed to obey His command in loving others the same way.  Unconditionally. We have a tendency to place conditions on our love and approval of others. All relationships whether it is a friendship, and intimate relationship, or family have times when things just simply aren't harmonious. It is normal to become frustrated and angry and lets face it there are people who are very difficult to get along with. God is asking us to make a choice that goes beyond our feelings, and emotions and to love unconditionally. Love reaches out and does what is best for the other person regardless of our feelings. We use the word love for many things and for many reasons but it takes on deeper meaning when it is shown.

Prayer

Forgive me Lord for being so easily offended. Open my heart and fill it with your perfect love.  I have received freely your love and forgiveness help me to give that same love to others. It is your love for me that causes me to know true love and that it never fails. Today I make a choice to love. Amen.
