way, the truth, and the life.
John 14:6
Just because someone or something is religious or spiritual does not
necessarily mean that it is of God. There are many religions and
spiritual recipes for a wonderful life and great wealth. Millions of
books are sold each year with step by step instructions that profess
that they have discovered the secret to life, love, and happiness. Just
because it is published or popular does not make it truth. Jesus Christ
is truth. If you want to live life to its very fullest reach out take
hold of His hand and you will begin a journey that will take you places
that you've never dreamt of, and give you wisdom that surpasses the most
notable degrees, unconditional love and acceptance like you have never
known. We have a tendency to search everywhere for our hearts desires
except for the very place that they are found. There is no lack of ideas
or philosophies that are enticing to our minds but unhealthy to our
spirits. Seems the world at times is like one giant infomercial pitching
us yet another line. Question is are we buying it? Or have we discovered
truth through Jesus Christ?
Prayer
Jesus when I met you I found my hearts desire. You are all that I need,
and all that I am. Give me wisdom to hear your voice and not compromise
but follow your truth as your reveal it to my heart. Help me to do the
things which are pleasing in your sight and bring honor to you. You are
the prize and it is you that I will continually seek. Amen.
