God Today Devotions

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

In the presence of God, there is peace and joy unspeakable. After we have had a taste, we hunger for more. If we desire to satisfy that hunger, we need only to seek Him; desiring Him more than anything else; surrendering all of ourselves to Him; making His will a priority within our families, relationships and our jobs; being constantly aware, as we live each part of our day, He is with us. Our circumstances need not dictate our disposition for the day, regardless of what it holds. It is a far better thing to endure adversity with God by our side, than enjoying the best of days without Him. Our faith is firmly planted in Christ. It is not dependent on our circumstance and feelings. We can be assured there is nothing in our day we cannot conquer, as long as He is by our side. He is faithful, and will always be faithful each and every day.

Prayer

Lord, I offer myself to You completely. Every part of my life I surrender. I invite You to participate in every activity of my day. Surround me with Your peace and joy. In the good times or the bad as long as You are with me, I will not be afraid, because I know You are faithful and there is nothing that can separate me from Your love. Amen.
