"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
Isaiah 54:10

Our lives can go from calm to unstable in a moment. Life is full of changes. How we survive them depends on our source of strength and hope. We can either choose to struggle through doing it "our way" or we can choose to allow Jesus to blanket us with His peace. The peace He offers is not based on circumstances in our lives, it is based on our relationship with Him. Our lives may change, but our God doesn't. He has promised to be with us always and never leave. He is our hope and His love is constant. If we commit our ways to Him and trust Him, His peace will sweep over us and bring calmness to our storms and fullness to our joy.

Prayer

Lord I rest in Your peace. You are the giver of my life. I commit my ways to You. It does not matter what the next moment may hold, You give me hope, strength, and peace. When the storms hit my life, You only can quiet my soul.
