Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
James1: 2-4

There are some who talk great of their faith and beliefs and there are others that live their faith. I desire to be one whose faith can be seen in every part of my life, even if I am not proclaiming it in words. We really don't understand the depth of our faith until it is tested. God does allow us to face certain circumstances in our lives, that may not be quite so pleasant. Not so He can beat us down into obedience, but rather so we can have a clear view of just where we stand. Trials and tests build the muscles of our faith. When God gives us a test, He does it with joy, because He knows it will bring us joy when we pass the test. Joy when our faith has a destination, and is actually going somewhere and accomplishing something. We are no longer aimlessly getting through each day, but we have motivation, and purpose as the muscles of our faith begin to bulge.

Prayer

Thank You Lord for the trials I face and have faced, that they cause me to grow in wisdom and faith. Remind me that the end results will please You. I count it all joy!! I want to pass the test; and to be on the road under Your direction.
