No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.
Joshua 1:5

With God, there are no shortcuts. In our own minds, it would be much easier to simply pick us up from where we are and place us where we are destined to be. It simply does not work that way. If we desire a deeper understanding of God, we must be willing to submit to Him, and spend time with Him. Relationships don’t flourish from a distance. We can depend on the fact that God is never going to leave us, or forsake us. So if the relationship with our Father is lacking, the blame must lie with us. God is continually revealing Himself to us, it is our responsibility to cooperate and respond to Him. Wherever we may find ourselves today, we can know that God has been there before us. He is constant, and faithful, and although the journey is not painless, He will bring us entirely prepared to our destiny.

Prayer

You have prepared a way for each of us, we dedicate ourselves to You, and are determined that however winding the road we are traveling, we will continue to follow. We trust in Your faithfulness. Forgive us for neglecting to see You in the midst of each situation. Go before us and prepare the way, we trust in You to bring us to the place You have destined us to be. May Your perfect will be accomplished in our lives. In Jesus name, Amen.
