And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Galatians 6:9

We can as believers, become numb to God's words of love and blind to His wonderful works. We can tend to forget, the not so spectacular blessings we receive daily. Sometimes the battle we face, does not come directly from our enemy, or an outside source, but from the enemy within. Our daily routines can become monotonous; we work hard but we can almost expect tomorrow to hold the same as today. It is in this place, we can become weary and begin to consider our work for God a chore, rather than a pleasure. This attitude of weariness, will affect our relationship with God, as well as with others. Our love can begin to grow cold and we run the risk of wandering away from His truth. God is just as faithful in our day- to -day routines, as He is in our crisis. When life seems dull and we find ourselves growing weary, we can trust in His faithfulness and rest in His love. If we will hold on to His strength, we will reap in His perfect time.

Prayer

Blessed be Your Holy Name Lord! I thank You for being faithful and I trust that under your wings my soul will find rest and shelter. When I begin to grow weary You give me strength and hope to continue in my service to You. Thank you. Amen.
