But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.
1 Corinthians 12:18

Jesus is certainly not biased. He loves all and sees them through the eyes of perfect love. He offers eternal life to anyone who believes on Him. As representatives of Jesus Christ, we should do no less. We are certainly all different, our looks, our personalities, etc., and that is exactly how God intended it to be. We are the ones who have created the separation and boundaries. More times than we may care to admit, we act like the Pharisees, with a tendency to ignore or shun those who we have determined “different”. We are all a part of one body and it has many “different” parts, each one needed for the entire body to function properly. It is the hand of God, that is creating the Church of Jesus Christ, not men, and it is unique indeed, with a mixture of different people, with different personalities, and cultures. Sure we live our lives differently, but when we accept Jesus Christ as our friend and Savior, we become one. It is God’s responsibility to create, and place all the parts where He chooses, and ours to accept, and love them.

Prayer

Lord you have created all things and created them perfectly for your pleasure. Forgive us and help us to accept our differences teaching us to love one another and to accomplish together the tasks you have placed before us. Let the words we speak match our actions, in the name of Jesus we ask, Amen.
