He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him; he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
Psalm 145:19

Having faith is more than speaking scriptures and insisting that God fulfill our demands. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Not fear as in being afraid, but respecting and reverencing God Almighty, creator of all things. He will fulfill our deepest longings and desires. He loves to do and give good gifts to us His children, and is the master of provision. What we can’t forget is that He is our Father, His wisdom exceeds our comprehension. We have an obligation to seek Him, follow Him, listen to Him, obey Him, and to submit to His will for our lives. Regardless of what our need is, we can trust that He will provide not only adequately but abundantly. Faith is our ability to embrace and trust in God’s infinite wisdom, believing that He will work all things in our lives for good to accomplish His purpose, even when it appears hopeless. He hears the cries of His children, and always answers according to His purpose, not our whims.

Prayer

We thank you for the work you are doing in our lives. We choose to follow You and obey that we may experience your provision and blessings in our lives. We trust in Your infinite wisdom, and anticipate that You will change the impossible and make it possible. You are aware of our needs before we are. Teach us to trust You day by day and moment by moment. Let Your desires become our desires. We give you praise and honor our sovereign Lord. Amen.
