But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:4

Talking about how huge our problems are, won’t change a thing. Yet if we will begin to view them in light of how capable God is, we will begin to see a change, not only concerning the problem but within ourselves. The words we speak, have a huge impact on the way we react, think, and live. If we are continually focusing on the negative and expecting the worst case scenario to take place, that is all we are going to see. God’s word is the standard we live by, period. Everything we say and do, should come into alignment with it. Absorbing God’s truth into our hearts and minds, brings to us life, wisdom, and understanding. Regardless, what we face, we can know that the God we serve is bigger. Miracles and changes in our lives, won’t come as a result of our demands, but speaking God’s truth concerning every situation will certainly increase our faith, giving us hope and strength and the nourishment we need to survive against any odds.

Prayer

Lord, we seek Your truth and desire to live every part of our lives, according to Your word. Fill our hearts with wisdom and understanding, and help us to remain focused on Your truth, regardless of circumstance. You are greater than any situation we face, You are capable of working every problem for good according to Your purpose. Change us; and help us to remain focused on Your truth and the words that come from Your mouth. They are life to us, in Jesus name, Amen.
