Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

The world is constantly changing. It is easy to get so caught up in the problems of the world and the situations we personally face each day, that we forget that we are not solely dependent on our ability but the unlimited ability of God. It is God that achieves the impossible. We may stand powerless to create change in the world, or within ourselves and the situations of life we find ourselves in, but with God nothing is impossible. When our faith is weak, God strengthens and renews us. In trusting in Him, we not only enter into his rest and peace, but remain there. When we are not trusting in God, anxiety and fear are given a dwelling place within our hearts. We can’t carry the load of the world on our shoulders, and we don’t have to. God is more than capable of handling our affairs and the affairs of this world. When we don’t trust and let God carry the load, we miss experiencing the tranquility, the peace and the joy in this life.

Prayer

Lord, help us to live in the atmosphere of Your peace and joy. The world is constantly changing, as well as our circumstances. Remind us today, that You are in control of every detail, and it is not up to us to solve the world’s problems but to follow Your wisdom and instruction day by day, and even moment by moment. We are resting in Your ability, wisdom, and perfect love. Amen.
