Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship.
Romans 12:1

There are many things required of us in a day, but none more important than loving our God. In the midst of worship God communicates with us. We are not only blessed by His presence, but given the opportunity to absorb all of who He is, His love, character, and attributes. It is more than a responsibility, it is a pleasure. As we spend time worshipping God, our love for Him deepens, and our relationship with Him is strengthened. It is an opportunity to express our love and gratitude to our Creator. There is no room for despair and gloom, all fear, bitterness, and hate are gone. He resides in the midst of our praises. It would be impossible to stand in the presence of Almighty God and leave unchanged. Worship is truly the center of our relationship with God. It is not important how we worship, but vital that we do.

Prayer

We come into Your presence today with thankful hearts. We praise You for who You are and all that You have done. We love You with all our heart, our soul, and mind. Consume us with Your presence, share with us Your love, create in us a vessel pleasing and acceptable to You. Amen.
