The LORD has
done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
Psalm 126:3
There will always be those among us, who are inclined to ignore the joys
of life and focus on the negative. When you speak with them, they are
quick to point out the worst. If we are not able to see God in all
things, we will never experience true joy. There are many things in this
life that we don’t understand, we have endured hardships and difficult
situations, and most likely there will be more. While we can’t deny the
bad times, we cannot ignore the fact that God delivers us from every
situation, He never bails out when things get rough, He is continually
guiding, and instructing, and loving us each step of the way. If we
reflect for a moment, we will be reminded of the many blessings He has
surrounded us with. He has picked us up, and set our feet on a solid
ground. We can be secure in Him. He has and is, continually doing great
things in our lives. When trouble comes, our praise should become more
persistent. As long as God is by our side, we can be joyful, in all
things.
Prayer
You Lord are all sufficient. You have done great things and brought us
through many difficult situations. We know that regardless of what today
holds, we can trust in You. You are able to do above and beyond what we
expect. We praise You and thank You for the great things You have done,
and are about to do in our lives, in Jesus name, Amen.
