ON EAGLE'S WINGS

Our country is in great need, Lord,

So please hear our humble prayers;

Help us all to be in one accord,

For protection and revival everywhere.

We need your assurance and your love,

Dear Father God, in heaven above;

For there is no shelter anywhere,

Except in your wings and loving care.

Comfort us as we unburden our hearts,

Draw us close to You, and do not depart;

Mend the breaks and bind the wounds,

Please don't let our country be in ruins.

Keep our eyes on You, as we seek your face,

Let us never forget your abundant grace;

Remind us daily of what You are able to do,

For in stillness and quietness we hear you.

May our prayers reach heaven on eagle's wings,

While we praise your Holy Name and sing;

You know what's best, so answer our prayer,

Bless us and keep us in Your tender care.
