Many are the afflictions
of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 34:19
In life we experience both
adversity as well as opportunity. Change can happen quickly. The things
that once caused us to feel secure can be pulled out from underneath us in
a moment. What is important to always remember is that God is in control
and is always working each situation for our good. God does not cause the
bad situations we may experience in life. He is our relief and comfort and
gives us the ability to conquer any circumstance. He helps us to grasp the
opportunity within the adversity, and delivers us from them all.
Prayer
As I face difficult
situations I look to You for wisdom and truth. I am depending on Your
ability to see me through. Help me to recognize that setbacks or failures
are temporary and opportunities for Your work to be displayed within my
life. Amen.
