Speak Lord; Your servant
is listening.
1 Samuel 3-9
Listening to God is necessary. We have to know the plan if we are serving
Him. We may make plans for our day but must realize they can be subject to
change. We will know if we take the time each day to tune our hearts into
God’s voice and listen. It may be a gentle nudge within our hearts, a
whisper or even a rebuke. What a great comfort to know that as we go
through our day the God of the Universe is with us and directing our
steps. What we may see as our every day routines can become something
dynamic, if we are listening, and acting on His instructions.
Prayer
I desire to serve You with all of my life. I am listening today for the
sound of Your voice. Lead and guide me through even the smallest details.
Speak to my heart, I am listening, Amen.
